Dining ware

Karatsu and its surrounding area are one of the largest places of pottery production. In particular, Karatsu ware has been famous for its teacup used for tea ceremony. Arita ware of porcelain is also well-known for its unique texture and beauty.

Our ryokan serves meals with them produced by famous potteries such as:

Karatsu ware: Nakazato Taroemon Kiln, Dohei Kiln, Sajiro Kiln, etc.

Arita ware: Imaemon Kiln, etc.

Photo shown below is a part of dining ware used at our ryokan. It would be possible for us to serve meals in all dining ware made in Karatsu ware or made by any particular kilns if you would inform us of your request beforehand.
